NOW HIRING: Architectural Metal Installers & Fabricators – Union Positions (SMART Local 20)

JAMS is a specialty architectural metal panel company that fabricates and installs exterior building envelope systems (ACM panels, rainscreen systems, and related metal cladding) on commercial, healthcare, education, and data center projects.

We’re growing and hiring into SMART Local 20 through our specialty architectural agreement. No apprenticeship required. We train you on our work. Whether you’re experienced in metal panels or ready to start a career in the trades, we have a spot for you.

Spanish speakers welcome. English is not required.

Positions available

• Material Handlers
• Architectural Journeymen (Installers / Fabricators)
• Experienced panel installers and foremen

What we’re looking for

• Reliable, on time, and willing to learn
• Able to work at heights and on lifts
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all conditions
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Most of our work is in the Chicagoland area and Northwest Indiana, with some projects throughout the Midwest. Must be willing to travel when needed.
• Construction, sheet metal, or panel experience is a plus, not a requirement
• English or Spanish speakers welcome
